Scented Soy Candles that are premium quality, environment-friendly and affordable
The long-burning is over! Paraffin Candles lost 8-9 hours short to Soy Candles. In other words, you get more value for money by choosing Soy Candles over the all-so mainstream Paraffin Candles.

How is this? Let's begin by differentiating the two.

Paraffin wax is a by-product of refined gasoline coming from crude oil that consists hydrocarbon mixture, while soy wax on the other hand, from the name itself, gives it away. It comes from soybeans more specifically from unsaturated fatty acids that were converted to saturated fat which makes it natural and a more stable compound. As opposed to paraffin, soy wax is purer and more intact - thus makes it burn at a lower melting point.

In any case, this is not why we are writing this blog. We just want to put it out there to prevent any confusion 🤪

So, going back to our main topic, here are 5 THINGS you should know about Soy & Paraffin Candles:

1. Soy Candles burn longer than Paraffin Candles
Soy wax requires more heat to burn, while paraffin wax reacts fast to heat and therefore burns faster.

2. Soy wax is from soybean fat while Paraffin wax is a by-product of refined gasoline/petroleum
To be straightforward about it, soy wax burns cleaner since it is vegetable-based and non-toxic, while paraffin wax holds a lot of impurities and leaves stains on nearby surfaces or containers being used.

3. Paraffin wax has a stronger scent throw than soy wax
Paraffin wax holds more scent and releases stronger fragrance over soy wax. This is because paraffin wax burns faster thus emit fragrance faster. Soy wax, on the other hand, takes more time to burn and emits a more subtle scent.

4. Paraffin wax is non-biodegradable while soy wax is 100% biodegradable
Paraffin wax, like plastics, requires approximately 100 years to completely breakdown which is NOT good for the environment. It also releases petro-carbon soot that is harmful to health. On the contrary, soy wax is soot-free and emits 0% petro-carbon soot which does not pollute the air quality where it is being lit.

5. Soy candle stains are easy to remove
Soy wax can easily be washed off just by using regular hand soap. With paraffin wax, you easily ruin a beautiful shirt because of its wax's stain. Have you ever accidentally spilled a regular candle on your hand? It hurts, doesn't it? This is not the case for soy candles! 😉

Ultimately, soy candles succeed paraffin candles in more ways than what we have shared. This explains why soy candles are priced higher than paraffin candles.

BUT what if there is a store that sells cheap - premium scented soy candles? One that is cheaper (and healthier) than any other well-known paraffin wax-based candles in the market? That would be great, isn't it? Look at our site to find these!
